The cross is likely one of the most identifiable symbols of the Christian faith, for very good reason. The cross symbolizes an event packed with meaning and ultimately, our salvation and restoration into relationship with God. In this Groundwork series we study scripture to understand three powerful meanings behind the symbol of the cross: the cross as our example, as our victory, and as our atonement.
