October 11, 2013 • Acts 2
Of all the days in the life of the Christian church during its nearly 2,000-year history, none was as exciting and dramatic as the very first one—the day of Pentecost. The very first Christian sermon was delivered by Peter on the Day of Pentecost. It established a pattern of authentic Christian preaching that continues to this day. And the early church in Jerusalem described at the end of Acts 2 also gives a pattern of Christian community the way it's supposed to be.
