February 28, 2020 • Matthew 8:1-3 Isaiah 35 John 9
Jesus Christ had compassion for all people, particularly the people society ignored and even neglected. He did not pass by those in physical need, instead, he cared for them physically and spiritually. Each of the four Gospels contains stories of people Jesus healed—sick people, people born blind, people suffering from skin diseases, and more. As we read about his miraculous healings today, we might wonder why Jesus doesn’t heal everyone, or more personally, why he didn’t heal us or a loved one when we prayed for healing. Join us as we examine Jesus’ healing ministry to help us answer these questions and better understand how his acts of healing point us to the Kingdom of God.
